Become a Volunteer

Volunteering is truly for everyone! As the Richfield Springs Community Center has grown so has the need for volunteers. There are many opportunities for you to support the healthy development and positive choices for our youth while helping us build a stronger community. Recruitment for volunteers is on-going. What type of volunteer are you?

Zone Youth Program Mentor/Volunteer

Free Friday evening from 7 – 10 and enjoy the company of teens, this may be the choice for you. There are lots of activities and games for you and the youth to participate in together such as pool, ping pong, foosball, rock band, shuffle board, X-box, Wii, and board games.

Community Night Volunteer

Are you free Saturday evening from 6 – 9 and enjoy the company of families and the youth of our neighborhood? Come participate and enjoy the community atmosphere of the evening.

Zone Youth Program Field Trip Volunteer

Do you love to roller skate? Or maybe you like basketball and have a mini van… Field Trip volunteers are fun loving folks who like to participate in any of our off-site activities like high ropes courses, roller skating, and hockey games. Field trip volunteers also usually provide transportation for at least a portion of the group that is going on the trip.

After School Program Mentor/Volunteer for Grades 5-8

Available Wednesday and/or Friday from 3-5:30? Consider greeting teens as they get off the bus, having a snack, and listening to how their day went; then assisting with homework/a planned community service activity/or a fun recreation activity.

After School Program Special Presenter for Grades 5-8

If you have traveled, own a business or have some other educational program to share with the after school group and have one Wednesday or Friday from 3-5:30 free, consider joining us to give a short presentation to the group. These experiences are invaluable! Your expertise will be appreciated!

Event Volunteer

Do you love to cook? How about serve food? or Maybe you are an avid fisherman or runner? Event volunteers are the back bone that keeps our fundraising and community events alive. If you are able to join one of our teams for a day to help with Pride Days, the Annual Run/Walk, the Fishing Tournament, the Annual RSCC Auction, the Soup and Pie Supper, or help at any of our other special events then this is the opportunity for you!
