Help Us Reach our Capital Campaign Fundraising Goal of $110,000

In 2004 a visionary group of community minded individuals set forth on a fundraising mission to find a permanent “home” for teens in our area to socialize in a mentored, safe environment after moving from several temporary locations. The Richfield Springs Community Center was born!

And now it is our turn!
The Board of Directors is pleased to announce its Capital Campaign to fund a much needed building expansion.

Why expand you ask? Simply put, we need more space!
Our programs range in age from pre-school to “seniors” who come from the surrounding area. Weekly participation in these programs is at the max for the space we currently have. In addition, our facility rentals are restricted to smaller groups which limits valuable income for The Center.

The proposed 30’x40’ addition will give us the room we need in order to, at last, begin advertising our programs in an effort to offer yet more programs and, most importantly, the socialization aspect to more individuals. It is a proven fact that socialization provides us with a sense of connection, purpose, support and, ultimately, overall better health and longevity—at any age!

Our goal is $110,000. The Center is fully committed to seeing this building expansion to fruition. The Scriven Foundation, a long-time supporter, has graciously committed to a $5,000 donation to jump start the Capital Campaign.

Won’t you help us reach our goal? Because we are eager to ensure that we meet our construction costs along the way, your tax deductible donation will be appreciated at your earliest convenience.

Donations can be mailed to:

As an added bonus those supporting our efforts will automatically become Zone Club members—our membership based program with benefits determined by levels of support. Details are on our website at www.richfieldspringscommunitycenter.org
